A few steps from the center of Cava de’Tirreni, the green gateway to the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Peninsula,
“Ammore”’ll for you.
An authentic taste boutique where the first value we cultivate is the bond with the land to which we belong and whose most typical recipes we aim to enhance. We consider them real gastronomic canvases that we rewrite with imagination and creativity, but each time respecting the tradition of Campania.
We always start with local products, such as the Cilento white fig, reinterpreting them with innovative combinations in which the history of each dish is ennobled in absolutely exclusive leavened products. The result is an explosion of aromas and flavors that bring back memories of times gone by but looking, proudly, to the future.

The story of our uniqueness begins with panevo.
In love with the Scarpariello, we wanted to re-propose all of its legendary flavor. We are intrigued by this first dish, very simple but delicious, characteristic of poor cuisine, that of leftovers, of “little but good”. It says a lot about the inventiveness of Neapolitan women forced to feed so many mouths with what they kept in their pantries. On Monday, to the Sunday ragù, they generously added cheese offered by their customers to season a pasta that their husbands, at the time the scarparielli, quickly indulged in the shop, licking their chops for its goodness.
Thus, we reassembled tomato, cheese, fresh basil and extravirgin olive oil to give life to a panevo – naturally “’O Scarpariello”- which recalls the recipe of the early nineteenth century, in our reinterpretation enriched by the refined particularity of the tomato selected in the dried version in oil, pecorino romano and pecan nuts.

Then we were inspired by the Nerano, designed to satisfy the nocturnal derires of Pupetto, the prince of Sirignano Francesco Caravita, on a pleasure trip from Capri to Positano. We stop in the Terra delle Sirene of the fifties. We have a crush on this delicacy, invented for him and his marry band of friends, in the“Maria Grazia” restaurant in Massa Lubrense. Insistently challenged by his guests about his culinary skills, the prince entered the kitchen very worried but, helped by the legendary Esterina, he made a great impression.
A few courgettes from the family garden, a little pasta and leftovers of provolone del monaco were enough to conquer everyone, even convincing them to give it an encore. To make you relive the emotion of that exceptional spaghetti we have recreated, in our panevo dedicated to him, the freshness of these ingredients together with the ever-present extravirgin olive oil.

We let ourselves be fascinated by the enveloping delicacy of the white truffle. I have made it“married”with the balanced intensity of the Parmigiano Reggiano. The result of our experiments is a special leavened product that enhances the pleasantness of the white truffle, with its mixed notes of undergrowth and wet earth, with the sweetness of the most famous Italian cheese in the world.
Not without a pinch of pride we tell you about panzuppati!
We have also succeeded in valuing, in an innovative way, the experience gained in the family business, the“Russo 1899”distillery. We tried to“soak”the leavened products made with the classic panettone dough in special syrups and, when we took them out of the oven, they literally enchanted us.
Their softness and the long leavening with which they are kneaded are accentuated by a whimsical and full of panache finish. The syrups are offered in various flavours, whose alcoholic soul is the result of non-stop research and combinations that give an interesting push towards modernity to tradition.
From limoncello from the Amalfi Coast, from the“Acqua di gin – Speziata” and from the“Vermouth sospeso al caffè” we obtain precious and incomparable blends which recall a product or a Campanian ritual. The Amalfi Coast Pgi lemons that offer unique panoramas in the world with their courageously clinging to the rocks terraces; the rite that truly unites everyone in every corner of the planet during the day and celebrates Neapolitan coffee; a sensational mix of aromas, seeds and plants, combined with skill, which add an extremely fascinating and irresistible note to the gin.
Our creative vein, in any case, continues to show us the way. We have many surprises in store for you… Follow us to discover them!
